The cartouche: CARY'S NEW TERRESTRIAL GLOBE DELINEATED From the best Authorities extant; Exhibiting the late Discoveries towards the NORTH POLE, and every improvement in Geography to the present Time. LONDON Made & Sold by G.&J. 86 St James Street Jany 4 1831. The globe comprised of twelve hand coloured engraved paper gores, supported in graduated brass meridian ring sittingin mahogany stand bearing hand colured engraved paper horizon ring.
