The present specimen is an exceedingly large fossil example of the Trionychidae family, and an ancestor of modern Pacific-dwelling turtles such as the Asian giant soft-shelled turtle.

Overall in excellent condition and appearance. The excavation marks and cracks to rock having been professionally repaired. One leg highly disarticulated with bones missing, the tail possibly associated from another specimen, some areas of restoration to shell.
