Lot Essay

Am impressive three-dimensionality to the skull and snout, in addition to the internal structure including orbicular cavities. These specimens are often discovered with the upper jaw and skull flattened, the bones therefore intermingling with the lower jaw bones. It is therefore impressive to see the excellent level of detail in the present specimen, which preserves the instantly recognisable profile silhouette of a prehistoric apex predator.
