Early nineteenth century perpetual calendar. Engraving with acquatint, with moveable parts, in original frame. The upper part of the plate is the title on a banderole held aloft by two cherubs, to the centre is sphere which bears the year, below are two further spheres which contain information upon days, star signs, day and night times, and sunrise and sunset. Two further tables give list signs of the zodiac and the dates for the beginning of spring, summer, autumn and winter.
