Icarus

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

(American Madonna No. 1) on Arches paper, signed and dated in pencil, dedicated 'Big print for Alex' (the edition was 150), a ¼-in. area of surface soiling above the dedication, a diagonal 5-in. scuff in the printed green (and other lesser scuffs in places in the image), occasional minor cracking to the ink (primarily in the blue), a handling crease to the right of the subject's torso (with minor cracking to the ink), otherwise in good condition
