1) A LEAF FROM A FRENCH BIBLE, in Latin [northern France, probably Paris, third quarter 13th century]: initials alternately in red or blue with penwork flourishing extending into margins. Light marginal staining, repair to lower margin.
2) FOUR LEAVES FROM A FRENCH BREVIARY, in Latin [France, mid-15th century]: rubrics and folio numbers in red, initials in blue or red on grounds of burnished gold. Remnants of adhesive on reverse.
3) A LEAF FROM A FRENCH BOOK OF HOURS, in Latin [France, second half 15th century]: initials in gold on red and blue backgrounds, one-sided borders inhabited by beasts and flowers. Slight remnants of adhesive.
4) A BIFOLIUM FROM A DUTCH BOOK OF HOURS, in Dutch [Utrecht, c.1460]: rubrics in red, initials in red or blue, one illuminated initial with three-sided borders. Slight marginal dampstaining.
