The Huanggang Deposit is widely known for the unusual formations which have been found there, ranging in form, color and hybridity with other species. This specimen features four impressive purple fluorite cubes, whose hues are deep and demonstrate a beautiful ombre effect. These fluorite cubes rest upon a bed of quartz crystals, which have been coated by a second generation of glittering quartz druse, resulting in a rich amber appearance to the surface.
