From the Posidonienschiefer Formation, lower Jurassic (circa 184 million years ago), the 5-inch long fossil skeleton of a juvenile Stenopterygius quadriscissus in excellent state of preservation, particularly to the skull and the forefin, professionally prepared on rectangular-cut shale matrix, mounted on board with wooden frame.
