Formed as a double-ended ship bordered by scrolling waves, the midsection with a raised deck mounted with a draped figure of Hope reclining on a stack of chests and rope-tied parcels, a mast with sail and an anchor, the ends with removable gilt-copper liners, one side engraved 1891-1916 In Verehrung D.S.A.G., the other side C.K. & S.W. G.m.b.H., marked on base rim
