The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is supported on the reverse with a glue lining. With minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges and some minor surface soiling. The impasto is well retained and the painting layer is stable. Inspected under ultraviolet light. The canvas presents with a milky green varnish. Further inspection hindered by the varnish.
