The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Pitcher and two goblets dated 1863, other two goblets dated 1864, fully marked on body of pitcher and goblets, cover with maker, lion passant and date letter, finial with maker's mark, the pitcher with likely wood or composite insulators to handle, pitcher wobbles slightly on flat surface, the tucked-in base slightly bent up on one side, a little wear to gilding throughout at high spots, pitcher with some faint scuffs to vacant reserve and possibly with removed engraving but very neatly done and not thin, overall good condition, attractive set.
