Of boat shape with undulating rim, supported on four leafy branch buttress supports terminating at upper rim in flower buds and blossoms, the openwork body similarly cast with scrolling flower and foliage, removable silver liner with vine-wrapped branch rim and engraved in center with Egyptian heraldry, marked on underside of bowl and liner and with French export mark for 1840-1878
