Overall with typical crazing, scattered surface wear and scratches; most of the surface has been sprayed, making it difficult to discern what has been done, with flaking and scratches to the overspray; the neck with a large crack issuing from the shoulder up through the gilt musical trophy at its waisted center; the socle appears to be heavily restored; the mounts with typical patina oxidation, consistent with age and handling; the cover does not sit well on top of the vase, but the gilding does appear to match the body
