The design for this service closely relates to the patterns 'Royal 9000' and 'Copenhagen 9900', introduced in 1907 and 1909, respectively, and made for such notable patrons as King Edward VII of the United Kingdom, King Haakon VII of Norway, President Celâl Bayar of Turkey, Icelandic President Ásgeir Ásgeirsson, Prince Felipe of Spain and Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, Shah of Iran.
