The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas has a wax reline. Overall with even, loose craquelure. With minor frame abrasion. Inspected under ultraviolet light. The canvas presents with areas of touchups, most notably to address the aforementioned areas of craquelure to minimize its appearence. Please note Christie's does not guarantee the condition of frames.
