The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in sound condition, and ready to place. The patinated and gilt-bronze with typical light rubbing, some faint surface scratching, some oxidation and tarnish. The gilt-bronze with some scattered areas of verdigris and loss to gilding, mostly to the lower plinth. The malachite veneer with natural inclusions, with some light surface scratching. The tabletop with some further 'nibbles' and minute losses along the extreme edges.
