The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall in sound condition. The bodies with scattered faint surface scratches and minute nicks. With a few small losses including to the corner of one pedestal and on the other with some flat chips to the upper part of tapering body. With rubbing to the gilding and some very minor cracking and minute flaking to the gilding. The marble tops not fixed and removable, with natural inclusions, some light surface scratching, and 'nibbles' to the extreme edges as to be expected with use. Each marble top with four small plugged holes to the corners. Some of the gilt-metal plaques slightly loose and may benefit from re-securing. The gilt metal plinth on the top of one pedestal slightly off center. The gilt-metal with typical rubbing and oxidation. Present well overall.
