The Baluster form ewer chased with scrolls and acanthus to the circular foot and knopped stem, the body with further scrolls and rocaille, one side chased with a scene of Neptune and his Tritons, the other depicting Amphitrite surrounded by Nereids, with two putto holding laurel garlands to the front, the back with a dolphin mask below the acanthus-capped loop handle, the shaped oval base raised on scrolled supports, with two Tritons blowing horns to each end, engraved on one side The Birmingham & District licensed Victuallers Billiard League Handicap Challenge Cup, Presented by Messrs Burroughes & Watts Ltd, both ewer and stand further extensively engraved with the names and dates of the winners of the first through the thirty-seventh competitions, marked below spout of ewer, on side of stand, and on Tritons
