Overall in sound condition. Of an impressive scale with finely chased details and elaborate decoration. We suggest a restorative cleaning and polishing. The stems supporting the basket slightly out of straight resulting in slight dipping of basket on one side. With some losses to the silvering revealing gold ground of the bronze. The glass bowl a later replacement, with some minute 'nibbles' to the edges. Several of the elements lift or screw off for ease of cleaning and may be somewhat loose, but secure. With minor light surface scratching as a result of use and polishing. One candle cup slightly loose, and turning in place, but secure.
