The circular base with band of overlapping berried laurel and raised on three boldly cast shell and scroll bracket feet, the waisted pedestal supporting a platform mounted with three fully modeled figures in various military uniforms, the reeded central standard terminating in everted acanthus leaves supporting a detachable cut-glass bowl with scalloped rim, base engraved on one side with a coat-of-arms below a crest and on the other side with an inscription, marked on base and standard, figures marked on heel of one foot
