Game ready A.Selig MLB baseball which was one of 48 prepared in advance for Jeter's historic 3,000th Hit milestone game by MLB. The ball has hand written "J 5" at the top of a side panel which was marked so MLB could identify the ball which would be hit for Jeter's 3,000th hit. Once the milestone was achieved (J7 ball) then the others were removed from play and subsequently signed by Jeter and marketed by Steiner to commemorate the historic achievement.
