The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The edges of the canvas are exposed and nail holes are visible due to previous stretching. Faint and stable cracking and minor wear are visible throughout, most notably to the extreme edges and corners. Small losses, surface soiling and a few pinpoint accretions are visible occasionally throughout. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
