Contemporary French red morocco gilt, green morocco titling pieces, all edges gilt, silk ribbon bookmarks, with arms of the Jarente family on boards (light rubbing). Provenance: Jarente family (binding) – Manoir de Caudemone library, Auquainville, France (sold in 1864 to:) – Baron Jérôme Pichon (1812-1896; inscription on front flyleaf).
