Charming decorated vellum binding on an edition of the Psalms in French verse, set to music.Later edition, first issued by the printer in 1700.

12mo (140 x 81mm). Mostly printed music (occasional spotting). Contemporary vellum over pasteboard, covers decorated with putti, birds, and overall pattern of flowers and leaves in gold, silver, and colors (now oxidized), some using criblé technique; "AL" medallion on upper cover, clasps (lightly worn). Provenance: Baron Gustave Louis de Blonay (1830-1900; Grandson de Blonay library bookplate).
