DUBUISSON – two prayer books in contemporary decorated morocco bindings with painted arms under mica from the workshop of Dubuisson. Paris, 1739 and 1748.

Two volumes, octavo. One volume in contemporary French citron morocco gilt with olive inlays, painted arms and decorative colored papers under mica, with Dubuisson’s ticket pasted on the flyleaf; the other in red morocco gilt with painted arms of La Marquise du Sauzay under mica; both with blue silk doublures and gilt edges. Provenance: one volume: “Catherine Rainquebac” (signature on flyleaf above binder’s ticket); the other: Marguerite de Blottefière de Vauchelles, Marquise du Sauzay (arms on binding and signature on title).
