Hans Albert Einstein’s copy of his father’s views on Newton and his achievements, and the position of the theory of relativity within the programme of Field Theory. This offprint first appeared in an article for the Manchester Guardian newspaper, 19 March 1927, published on the 200th anniversary of Newton’s death. Boni 165.

Octavo (220 x 145mm). Original stapled printed wrappers. Provenance: H.A. Einstein (1904-1976; front wrapper with his stamp with Berkeley CA address, numbered ‘89’ in red biro, and dated '19 III 27’ in pencil).
