Noah's Pick
Petrus competes with Latour for the title of wine of the vintage in 1964. This vintage, which was difficult on the Left Bank, produced excellent wines in Pomerol and St. Emilion. Petrus 1964 displays extravagant, fully developed fragrance of leather, game and cedar. The tannin is notable, the structure remains, but now power has developed into velvet softness. This is a wine of inimitable charm.
