GRAND FORMAT CRISTAL
To celebrate the millennium, Louis Roederer produced 2000 six-liter bottles of its top cuvée, Cristal, from the excellent 1990 vintage. The special Millennium cuvée is unique in another way, the blend being 51 Chardonnay and 49 Pinot Noir - thats 9 more Chardonnay than typical 1990 Cristal. The result, according to some, is a taste closer to a Blanc de Blancs.
