The 1997-98 NBA season was Jordan’s final season as a Chicago Bulls, and despite being his 13th NBA season, Michael Jordan was still the best player in the league, winning the 10th scoring title of his Hall of Fame career with an average of 28.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.  Michael Jordan's dominance led the Bulls to a 62-20 record, another Central Division title, and Jordan’s fifth NBA MVP.

Michael Jordan wore these photo-matched and dual-signed Air Jordan low XIII sneakers on June 12th, 1998, during the first 2 quarters of Game 5 against the Utah Jazz.

Jordan achieved his highest-scoring playoffs since the 1993 postseason in his final season, averaging 32.4 points per game as he carried the Bulls past the New Jersey Nets, Charlotte Hornets, and Indiana Pacers, on route to the NBA Finals against John Stockton, Karl Malone, and the Utah Jazz. Jordan put on an incredible display of basketball during his last finals - scoring 33.5 points per game - concluding with the Bulls finishing the Jazz in six. This was Jordan’s sixth NBA title, and he received his sixth Finals MVP trophy to commemorate the occasion along with winning the 1998 NBA All-Star Game MVP, completing this rare trio of individual awards for the second time in his career.

These dual signed, Utah Jazz Game 5 worn Air Jordan XIII from Michael Jordan’s second to last game as a Chicago Bull are not only photo matched by SAAS to the June 12th, 1998 Utah game, but are also photo matched to a pertinent scene in the last Dance documentary, where Michael Jordan is holding the pair in his hands while motivating the team, "You go out there and play hard tonight and we win, you don't have to hear from me no more, ever again."

The Jazz won game 5 by only 83-81. If the Bulls had won game 5, these shoes could have been "the last shot". In Game 6, Michael Jordan and the Bulls finished the game 87-86, winning the series 4-2, and cementing Michael Jordan’s 6 rings legacy forever.

In a size US 13.5 and a primarily black colorway, the midsoles are white and the soles are white, black, and red, with a yellow Jumpman logo. A red Jumpman logo is embroidered on the tongues and a raised silver Jumpman logo is applied to each heel. Jordan beautifully signed the inside heals with a black Marker. Complete with a full SAAS photo matching analysis confirming June 12th, 1998 game use, and a COA from JSA, providing authentication on Jordan’s signatures.
