Pritchett, Doris Lessing, William Golding, T.S. Eliot, Arthur Miller, Ted Hughes, Kazuo Ishiguro, Julian Barnes, John Updike, Susan Sontag, Anthony Burgess, Douglas Adams and Patrick Leigh Fermor. Each contribution is paired with an illustration by Hockney.
