Overall with shrinkage cracks and splits, which have been restored historically, most noticable to the arms, the left hand scroll to back and through the plume-of-feathers cresting.
The planked seat with horizontal shrinkage crack.

The decoration scratched and worn overall, now with more of a washed appearance.
Evidence of historic, but apparently inactive woodworm.
Otherwise structurally secure and highly decorative.
