Sir Peter Moores was a British businessman and noted philanthropist. Heir to the Littlewoods retail empire, at the age of 34 he set up the Peter Moores Foundation supporting cultural charititable ventures, which during its fifty year history donated over £230 million to various causes. Oliver Messel designed Sir Peter's house Alan Bay, Babardos during 1971-74.
