Comprising two card cases, a snuff box, a pill box, a larger box enclosing two cut-glass lidded scent bottles; together with two Dutch piqué-work boxes, one enclosing four glass lidded scent bottles, losses
The largest box: 3 in. (7.5 cm.) high; 334 in. (9.5 cm.) wide; 218 in. (5.5 cm.) deep
The smallest box: 1 in. (2.5 cm.) high; 214 in. (5.5 cm.) wide; 1./2 in. (4 cm.) deep
Provenance
One of the card cases: Acquired from Cekay Antiques, London and a gift to Lord Snowdon.
The others: With Oliver Messel at Maddox, Barbados and by descent.
