Ranken also painted Oliver's siblings, Linley Messel and Anne, Countess of Rosse (formerly Armstrong-Jones) as well as their father Colonel Leonard Messel. The siblings' portraits were all exhibited at the Royal Society of Portrait Artists, 1921.
