The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- The tone of the cobalt blue is particularly vivid and bright.
- There is an old riveted restored triangular section to the rim measuring max. approx. 11.5 cm. x 6.5 cm. with associated shallow chips and small area of discolouration.
- There are several shallow chips to the base, the longest measuring max. approx. 2 cm. x 0.5 cm.
- There is shallow chip to the centre of the body with an associated area of glaze discolouration.
- There are some old, barely visible paint marks in places.
- There is some rubbing to the rim and scratches in keeping with its age.
