The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are losses to two small sections of the scarf, the largest measuring max. approx. 0.5 x 0.3 cm.
- There is a loss to lotus stem to the shoulder.
- There is a loss to a lotus leaf on the lotus base measuring max. approx. 0.5 x 0.7 cm.
- The base is not sealed.
- There is light rubbing to gilding.
