Comprising a rectangular box decorated in gold hiramaki-e and sparse nashiji on a black lacquer ground with insects including grasshoppers, butterflies and dragonflies among chrysanthemums and wild pinks, the interior cover similarly decorated on a nashiji ground, nashiji interior; an elongated rectangular box and cover decorated in gold and silver hiramaki-e on a black lacquer ground with a crane among chrysanthemum, nashiji interior, gilt-copper handle; a stacked box and cover decorated in gold and silver hiramaki-e on a dense nashiji ground with chrysanthemum-heads, red lacquer interiors; and a Rimpa-style box and cover decorated with gold lacquer, lead and mother-of-pearl inlays on a woven basket-weave ground with flowering and fruiting branches, the interior similarly decorated
