Details
The group comprises: a gilt bronze figure of a bodhisattva seated in dhyanasana on a rectangular openwork plinth with hands held in dhyana mudra, wearing a robe draped over the left shoulder exposing a necklace, the plinth incised with the Qianlong cyclical date geng zi year which corresponds to 1780 and of the period; a seated figure of Shoulao, his robes cast in loose folds about his body and his arm resting on a rock; a bronze figure of a standing lady, her arms tucked into the sleeves of her long loose robe; and a gilt bronze openwork fitting with a dragon writhing amongst scrolls.
