Comprising a pair of globular vases with cylindrical necks, decorated in various coloured enamels with peony in a rockwork garden and a karashishi lion; a peach-form dish decorated in underglaze blue, red and green enamels with a hare seated on rockwork; a Kutani octagonal bowl decorated with panels of chrysanthemum and peony; an Imari dish decorated in underglaze blue and various coloured enamels with a crane with outstretched wings; a shaped Imari dish decorated with a branch of cherry blossom in a fenced garden; and a moulded dish decorated in iron-red and gilt with a ho-o bird within a border of chrysanthemum and butterflies
The vases 4½ in. (11.5 cm.) high and the largest dish 10 in. (25.4 cm.) diam.
