The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- The dish with slight rubbing to enamels and a glaze flaw.
- One bowl with restorations to the rim and some surface wear.
- One bowl with a tiny restoration to the rim and chips to the footrim.
- The Kakiemon cup and saucer with slight rubbing to enamels and gilt and slight surface scratches to the saucer. Slight glaze crackle to bottom of cup.
- The Imari cup and saucer with slight rubbing to enamels and gilt and a rimfrit to the cup.
- Both Hirado pieces are in good condition - the vase with residue from case to the interior which could be early cleaned.
