The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- The largest container with a chip to the lacquer of the base of approx. 1.5 x 0.5 cm., rubbing lacquer, wear and scratches to the silver, a repair to the interior of approx. 6 x 2.5 cm. and some cracks.
- The smaller container has some cracks with associated small losses near the foot rim and some faint cracks and wear and rubbing to the lacquer.
