The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Bronze with richly varied green and brown patina with golden undertones. Soft scratches and rubbing to the patina, predominantly in the higher points. An unobtrusive, fine surface crack in the patina between the rightmost joint of the cockerel's comb, with some associated minor discolouration. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
