The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- pale light-staining almost to the edges of the sheet.
- a few of pinpoint foxmarks in the margins.
- inscribed verso in pencil with the date 1887 and the title in German, and with the numbers 101 (circled), III 445 and 10.
- with a German customs stamp and a Düsseldorf post-office stamp verso.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
