The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- a few small brown stains in the lower margin at centre.
- some other pinpoint spots, foxmarks and very light surface dirt in the margins.
- some very minor creases at the sheet corners and edges.
- slight thinning in the margin verso.
- a small area of surface skinning at lower centre verso (caused by the removal of adhesive tape), with an associated small line of glue staining.
- inscribed with various numbers in pencil verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
