The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- light-staining around the image and platemark and into the margins.
- the date in pencil a little faint.
- an unobtrusive finger print (printer's ink or surface dirt?) in the upper margin and at the extreme sheet edge.
- a few tiny black stains near the right sheet edge.
- a couple of unobtrusive, pinpoint foxmarks in the margins.
- a fine oblique crease below, just into the subject, another two creases at the lower left sheet corner, a shorter one at the upper left and lower right sheet corners.
- some skinning at the upper sheet corners and upper centre verso where previously hinged.
- a couple of pale brown finger marks at lower right verso.
- inscribed in pencil verso with the underscored number 236, then Delt 75 and again the Delteil number D 75.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
