The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the colours muted, especially the orange, red and pink.
- the sheet toned to a tan colour as a result of light-staining and backboard staining, slightly darker at lower right.
- the sheet fully stuck to an old, acidic tan card backboard, probably also contributing to the toning of the sheet.
- the lower right sheet corner torn and re-attached or laid down onto the backboard.
- some other shorter tears and minor nicks, losses and creases at the sheet edges and corners.
- a small pale moisture stain at the lower right sheet edge.
- the sheet very slightly rippled in places, due to being adhered to the backboard.
- some very minor, unobtrusive surface scuffs in the subject.
- two small adhesive stains on the backboard verso.
- inscribed with some measurements in pencil verso.
