The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- light-staining over the subject and into the margins, including the signature and date.
- a few pinpoint foxmarks mainly in the margins or just inside the platemark but outside the image.
- some very minor pale discolouration in the margins.
- inscribed in pencil recto with the number D 115851.
- some very minor creasing at the sheet edges and corners.
- a small adhesive tape stain at the lower right sheet edge verso.
- inscribed with the number 159 (encircled) and another inscription (partially covered by a paper hinge) in pencil verso.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
