The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- with wide margins, possibly the full sheet.
- a repaired paper loss (circa 37 x 10 mm.) at the lower right sheet edge.
- a short repaired tear (circa 13 mm.) at the lower sheet edge to the right.
- another short repaired tear (circa 12 mm.) at the upper sheet edge to the left.
- the tips of the lower corners made up, the lower left sheet corner creased and partially broken.
- the tip of the upper left corner slightly creased.
- a pinpoint rustmark inside the platemark but outside the image, to the left of the drummer boy.
- a few pale foxmarks, mainly visible verso.
- various pencil inscriptions along the lower sheet edge verso: Vom Verlag III.22... [erased] M 86296 A 750/1003 Mich. Schw. [?] 6.I.23. 3500 M (Preis ca. ab 15.IX.23.)
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
