The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- a small paper loss (circa 7 x 5 mm.) at the tip of the upper right sheet corner.
- minor light-staining, the yellowish paper discoloured over and around the image and turned to a pale tan colour.
- minor staining and buckling of the upper left sheet corner cause by adhesive and old hinges verso.
- inscribed at the lower left sheet corner in pencil recto by another hand: 12/ Feininger, and with the catalogue reference Pr. E 43 at the lower right sheet corner.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
