The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, a deckle edge at left.
- a fine, oblique flattened crease across the upper right of the sheet, just touching the upper right corner of the subject; a similar, shorter crease across the upper left of the sheet.; both mainly visible in raking light.
- a tiny black mark, possibly printing ink, at the extreme lower sheet edge at centre.
- inscribed in pencil recto by another hand at lower left Szene aus dem Freudenhaus, also inscribed with the number 36- at lower right recto.
- lightly inscribed with various numbers and the price 240,- in pencil verso.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
